週あたり 1-2 時間. Students will get the most out of our meetings if they practice the math on their own. I will provide students with the correct answers to the assigned problems so that the kids can know what areas they may need to practice more. At the end of each class, students can stay with me for one-on-one help, also. This will be free of charge and is an option for kids who may need extra help.進捗レポート

In this online class, we will focus on the core concepts that will help kids to be successful in 6th grade math. The concepts will include: *Graphing: Number lines, coordinate graphs, bar graphs, frequency graphs and more. *Number systems: Fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, integers, real numbers, ratios, etc. *Solving equalities and inequalities and number lines. *Geometry: Shapes, areas, perimeters, volumes and more. *Probability and statistics: Recognizing odds, box and whisker plots, picture representations of statistics, and more. Together we will explore the fun and beauty of numbers in our world and how these numbers affect us in all areas of our everyday lives! We will include many pictures and images to help us understand the power of numbers and our relationship with them. This will be a fun learning experience that will build a great foundation for future math classes throughout the years! Note: These classes are recorded, so if kids are unable to make it to some of our meetings, they can still access the recordings and get caught up with all that we worked on together!

-Name decimals and their place values.

Students should have the following items at each session: - A notebook or blank paper for writing on. -Pens or pencils for writing. Pencils are best. -Colored pencils or markers. -It will also be helpful if students bring a calculator to class, too. This is optional, but it will be helpful for the students.

I have a master's degree in education from Aquinas College and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Western Michigan University. Most of my teaching years have been spent in Michigan's public high schools, but for the past few years I have enjoyed teaching math online with kids of all ages, from 1st grade through 12th grade!
