During this course, we will cover the entirety of the 4th grade math curriculum using the CCSS standards. In order to cover such a wide range of topics in such a short amount of time, there will be videos posted prior to every class that students must watch and come to class prepared to discuss. I utilize a "flipped" model of teaching where the students get the lesson BEFORE attending class and we work through the actual problems during our LIVE sessions where students can ask questions and get clarification on the concepts. My classes are fun, fast paced, silly, and taught by a teacher that struggled with math growing up, so I "get" why your child is struggling and how to help. Please see the course syllabus for a list of daily topics to be covered.

Students MUST have a good grasp of the 3rd grade content. i.e. knowing how to multiply and divide one-digit numbers, add or subtract numbers through 1,000, and a basic knowledge of fractions.
