Students will be able to identify attributes of shapes such as quadrilaterals, rectangles, and rhombuses.
Students will be able to solve for the area and perimeter of polygons.
Students will be able to find an unknown side length.
Students will recognize shapes can be partitioned into parts with equal areas.
Students will be able to tell and write time to the nearest minute.
Students will be able to solve word problems involving the addition and subtraction of time.
Students will be able to solve word problems involving dollars and cents.

Students will spend roughly 1-1.5 hours outside of class each week. Students will complete workbook problems in and out of class to solidify understanding of concepts discussed in class. Students may also be required to view short video lessons outside of class and respond to class discussion boards.

I will informally assess all students on an ongoing basis. A test will be given at the end of each chapter. A letter grade can be provided upon request at the beginning of the quarter.
