This thirty minute history course will introduce students to several animals who served heroically during World War II. The class will be presented with the help of a powerpoint presentation, and will be largely lecture based. That being said, there will be plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and discuss the animals that will be discussed in class. Our class time will be organized as follows: 3 Minutes: Introduction and Class Rules 5 Minutes: GI Joe the Carrier Pigeon 5 Minutes: Chips the War Dog 5 Minutes: Mary of Exeter, the Spy Pigeon 5 Minutes: Rip Rescue the Dog
