This class will cover a full year of second-grade reading, writing, and phonics, curriculum-based on common core standards. Learners are welcome to join the class at any time. Although some class content will build from the previous week, it will not prevent the new learner from understanding the concept we are covering during the current week. For example, some weeks, learners may choose to continue a writing piece they started in a previous class, or we may continue reading a book we started in a class prior. In both these circumstances, new learners will be given all the information they need to be successful in class.

I believe in meeting learners at their current academic level and providing an encouraging learning environment to facilitate meaningful learning. Learners should come to class with paper and pencil or whiteboard. I encourage discussions and lots of interaction but also understand some learners prefer to refrain from participating and enjoy listening to class discussions.

**This is an ongoing class, so join anytime, as new concepts will not depend on previous classes. Although some weeks' content will build from the previous week, it will not prevent the new learner from understanding the concept we are covering during the current week.**

⭐⭐⭐I cannot share class recordings as per agreements with publishers, who have granted permission to use specific materials under the condition that videos are not posted. Your understanding and cooperation in respecting these agreements are greatly appreciated.
Additionally, please note that refunds will not be issued for missed classes. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to our shared learning experience. ⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐ It is helpful if learners can access the chat and mute and unmute themselves. ⭐⭐⭐
