We share stories via screen share in class. Not all stories are available via the public library. A video of the story will be made available to students should they need to re-read the story outside of class time.

A device with a keyboard, working microphone, and a mouse. Using a laptop or computer is ideal.

This class is priced to allow us to run it even if we only have 1 student. While our goal is to help students connect with peers in an online classroom, we also aim to avoid cancelations. This class will run even if only 1 student is registered.

In the event that you decide this class is not a good fit, please communicate this with us. Running a group class for only 1 student is costly, and we will happily work with you find a class that is a better fit. 

Students do not have to be good at typing, but should be comfortable using a mouse and a keyboard. This class does not use paper and pencil. 

No special accounts need to be created to use Google Docs. Google Docs does not require using any personal identifying information for a minor.

No special account is needed for NearPod. Students are provided a link and can use a made up name to access the class activity.
