This is a self-paced course. This course is taught over 13 weeks. This course covers 12th Grade English material. Topics covered in this course are: Drama Characteristic, Understanding and Analyzing Poetry, Nonfiction Text Analysis and The Writing Process just to name a few. This course covers the material through videos/reading comprehension passages. At the end of each lesson students are to take a quiz and at the end of the chapter they are given a chapter exam.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught grades K-College level. I taught grades K-6 every subject including Bible and Art and grades 6-College English Language Arts. I've been an online tutor for Social Studies, Writing, ELA, and Science grades 6- College level. I was an Intervention Specialist for grades K-2, 1-5 ESOL and 6-8. I taught ESOL for several years as well. I have been on countless committees such as: Writing Rubric, Social Studies, Writing, Discipline Committee, National Junior Honor Society Advisor, Admissions Chair. I have a master's degree in education along with 80 credits above my master's degree. I come with extensive experience in education and look forward to being your child's teacher. I taught Bible for a group of students for my oldest son's class for about 8 years on a voluntary basis on the weekends.
