I have had extensive professional development in the Structured Word Inquiry approach to spelling and have seven years of experience teaching it in a brick and mortar classroom as well as one year experience teaching it on Outschool. 

Your learner should be a confident speller for their age, but may have gotten by with a strong memory or visual skills that allow them to recognize when a word is spelled correctly. 

We will utilize a number of online resources together, but this will always be done via screen share under my direction. Parents should understand that learners may decide to use those resources on their own time after class to continue their research.
