This 1:1 tutoring session can be scheduled as an ongoing course that offers flexibility for the student's need and family schedule. You can sign up for repeating classes. The first (and possibly second) session will include an universal screening tool that will focus on understanding your child's individual strengths, weaknesses, and intensive intervention needs through a comprehensive reading assessment. This personalized approach ensures that each lesson targets your child's specific needs, with continual assessment opportunities to tailor the tutoring services accordingly.

** Student will need access to a white board and marker.

Each class will begin with a short phonemic awareness warm up, followed by engaging activities of intervention, based on the results of your child's reading assessment. An appropriate multi-sensory phonics lesson based on the Wilson Reading System will be shared focusing on an explicit skill or spelling rule. Students should be knowledgeable of all 26 letter names and sounds to get the most out of the class.
