With over 16 years of experience in public schools and 5 years of online teaching, I am dedicated to providing personalized math tutoring for upper elementary through middle school students. I specialize in supporting students with all students, including struggling, above level, and even students with diverse learning needs.

My tutoring sessions are designed to meet students where they are and help them build a strong understanding of math concepts, from basic arithmetic, word problems, fractions, decimals and other upper elementary math skills to pre-algebra.  I create a learning environment tailored to each student’s unique style, ensuring they thrive and gain confidence in their abilities.

To make the most of our sessions, please inform me in advance of the topics you'd like to cover. Or if the student needs support on homework, please have them have the homework ready for class.  Sharing the material you're currently studying beforehand will allow me to prepare and provide targeted support. Whether we use your materials or additional resources I provide, this preparation is essential for a productive session.

For the class session, please ensure that your learner has access to paper and a pencil, and any homework if needed for review.  Please be aware that missed sessions are non-refundable, so punctuality is important. I will wait for up to 15 minutes before ending the meeting.

***(Good to know information) - Although this class session is a one-time class, for those students struggling with specific skills in math, reinforcement is a big key to success.  If you notice that your child needs deeper support, I would highly recommend you find a consistent day and schedule out several sessions at a time to provide repetition and deeper support for the skill set that is needed to be improved upon.
