For this course, students can bring their math assignments from school for assistance with understanding concepts. I can re-teach and demonstrate concepts, as well as guide students through the given problems. If time allows, I can also provide some extra practice problems for students to complete with guidance. We can also use this format to prepare and study for upcoming tests.  This course is individualized so that students feel comfortable asking questions and we can go at the pace of the student.

I am also able to informally assess students' math skills (both within their current grade level and across grade levels) to determine what areas of math they need more assistance and practice with. We can then work to close those achievement gaps through our weekly meetings as time allows.
