Ahlan wa-sahlan and welcome!

This tutoring course, 1:1 Introduction to Arabic (MSA Writing & Levantine Dialect Speaking), is aimed at beginners who wish to learn for the first time or strengthen their foundation in the Arabic language. Over a potential 9-week period, this course will follow the schedule below to cover all the basics for writing MSA and speaking the dialect of Arabic from the Levant region (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine). 

At the start of our journey, I will assess your needs, and we will determine together where in the syllabus is the best place to start. I will offer personalized instruction and generous feedback to nurture your Arabic journey so that it is a long and fruitful one! You do not need to commit to all of the 9 weeks upon signing up, but the lessons will build on each other to provide you with a wide overview of the Arabic Alphabet, basic writing, and practical conversation. After the completion of the schedule, lessons can extend to more advanced topics on a personalized, case-by-case basis.

Writing - Nominal Sentences (no verbs)

8th meeting:
Speaking - Useful Questions & Phrases for Travel
Writing - Prepositions

9th meeting:
Speaking - Goodbyes!
Writing - Adjectives & Adverbs
