Together, we will work towards advancing the student's essay writing. While we work toward completing specific essays, we will also be building general essay writing skills that learners can take with them into other essay writing experiences. Learner's can provide their own essay assignments or I can provide one. We can work on high school essay assignments, college application essays, homeschool ELA requirements, and more. 

Sessions can focus on whatever the student needs. Common starting points are:
- understanding essay assignments and guidelines
- brainstorming and developing arguments
- drafting paragraphs
- outlining and structuring essays
- identifying powerful evidence
- citing sources used
- developing unique voice
- preparing for timed writing or essay tests
- grammar and mechanics

Students will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their specific writing during every session.
