Students will engage with Teacher Lily (Mrs. Palmer) through free drawing, show and tell, play, stories, and other fun activities. The focus of this class is to have fun and build confidence through play, drawing and sharing while allowing the learner to familiarize themselves with online learning at the learner's own pace and comfort level. Please note that although we will draw in this class, it is not an art class.  It is a fun class where learners, who may be interested in online classes, but who might need time to adjust to class settings can practice through play and activities based on the learner's interests.  Additionally, this class is for learner's who are in my group classes and would like to spend more time 1:1 to expand on topics/activities we discussed in other classes.

For parents: I hope to provide an alternative play option for your children when other social activities are not possible and help them prepare for other group online classes.  Although this is an ongoing course, it is absolutely okay to sign up for just one class if you cannot commit to weekly classes. I am listing this as an ongoing course one day a week, but I am willing to add time/days/frequency.  Please feel free to request times and I will see if I am available to make a group on the time/day requested.

The teacher will occasionally use excerpts of story books and quick transition video clips (with author's/performer's/creator's permissions) to introduce an activity or allow the students to move/play a game.  These will only be used as supporting materials to provide opportunities for social engagement/movement and will not be used for long periods of the class.
