Piano: Faber and Faber (for beginners), A Dozen a Day Series (for technical exercises), Easy Piano Classics (for exploring a variety of musical styles)
Voice: The Contemporary Singer (for vocal exercises), Songs from musicals, classical art songs, or popular repertoire (for performance practice)
The course structure is designed to offer individualized instruction and personal attention. Each session will be thoughtfully crafted to address the unique needs and objectives of the student, with time divided between piano and vocal development. The Student must have a piano or keyboard to practice on. Materials will be assigned after the first class based on student ability and interest. A book of staff paper will also be recommended after the first lesson. Sample Materials: Faber Piano Adventures John Thompson Piano Series Bastien Piano Series The Contemporary Singer Additional materials based on student interest such as Classical repertoire, Jazz, Disney, etc.
