A typical class includes…

  👉 Getting to know a students musical taste and ambitions for their guitar career. Did an artist in particular make them want to play?!

  👉 Interactive finger picking/ plectrum warm up drills, with fun call and response games, tailored to develop technique and timing in an interactive way!

  👉 A catchy starter piece that develops all 6 strings of the guitar and implementation of a chord!

  👉 A personalised weekly practice routine (you can be more efficient with 5-10 minute practice sessions with my strategies!!)


W E E K L Y   C O N C E P T S :

A typical beginner student would follow this format in our classes

  👉Week 1: Learn the much loved "catchy phrase" used to remember our 6 strings, and turn this knowledge into a fun-to-play song!

  👉Week 2: Introduce multiple chords, learning the difference between major and minor, discussing the potential of songwriting via these new chords!

  👉Week 3:  Developing our catchy song via learning a scale pattern used to jam/solo over 

  👉Week 4: Master the art of live performance by introducing a metronome/backing track (feel like you're playing a gig!)

From their we will tail off into a more specific and tailored route of student development, whether it be following specifically chosen pieces, or work towards guitar grades.  Each project we cover will involve an arrangement and improvisation aspect to it (making a song your own when performing) This in turn gives you the keys to write your own big hits!
