This 1-on-1 tutoring class is designed to work with your child where they are. It is neurodiversity affirming and great for students with unique learning needs, including ADHD and ASD. Lessons will be personalized based on the skills that will benefit them! In these tutoring sessions, we can cover skills including: - phonological/phonemic awareness - vocabulary - grammar - listening comprehension - reading comprehension - problem solving - communication skills Please note that I do NOT offer tutoring for reading fluency, decoding, or phonics. Lessons will be personalized as much as possible. I love for students to bring in their interests so that we can incorporate things that are meaningful for them. I also LOVE to hear from students about what they most want to work on! If you or your student are unsure what skills would benefit them, don't worry! I specialize in working with students to find areas of need. Throughout our lessons, we'll incorporate a variety of activities, including games, slides, videos, reading materials, and discussions. For these lessons, I ask that students have basic reading skills, as I cannot provide tutoring for reading fluency.

This class is being led by a school-based SLP. I work primarily with students who have unique learning needs, including language delays, ADHD, and ASD. I'll bring my knowledge of individualizing lessons to these tutoring sessions.
保護者へのお知らせ
All lesson materials will be shared with students using screen-share tools. Students will NOT be sent to third-party websites on their own browsers. Although my lessons are very student-led, I adhere to a "school appropriate" rule when letting students suggest topics and games. In addition, the first meeting will be planned by me. At the end of each lesson, I will ask students for topics of interest. These topics will be shared with you before the next meeting so that the topic can be cleared for use during the next lesson. If the topic is not cleared beforehand, I will plan the next lesson based on previously cleared topics and/or needs.
受講に必要なもの
If it works better for your student and/or the topic, printable materials can be provided before the lesson. You will need a printer to print these materials if that is the case; however, printable materials are absolutely not necessary for these lessons! If we choose to include printable materials, you will need basic school supplies, such as writing tools, scissors, colors, etc...
