宿題:
If possible, students should submit any specific essay prompts to which they are responding three days prior to our first meeting, along with a draft of any work that has already been completed, in order to allow me time to prepare for our work together. It would also be helpful if your student could indicate any specific questions they have about their essays and/or their goals for our time together. During our session, we will create a plan for the work that should be completed before our next meeting, customized to the needs of the student.この文章は自動翻訳されています

If you're reading this, you've got a college entrance essay to write. It is no exaggeration to say that your essay will have a considerable role to play in setting the course of your future, but don't worry, that's a good thing. Really. You may not believe me now, but the opportunity to write this essay is cause for excitement, because this essay is about you, and you are so much more than an essay. Whether you're still staring at a blank screen or have a draft nearly ready to go, we will work together on your college application essay, thought by thought, sentence by sentence, and word by word. By the time we are done, you will have written a superlative essay that gives voice to the very best of yourself, your most ardent hopes, keenest insights, and formative experiences, an essay in which the joy, determination, and depth with which you live are unmistakable, along with your commitment to becoming part of a community of other young scholars ready to learn and grow and take the world by storm. We will meet weekly for 30 minutes. We'll collaborate on the agenda for each of our meetings based on where you are in the essay writing process and any specific questions you have, and I’ll use my expertise and the resources at my disposal to guide you toward producing a polished college application essay. Some possible areas of focus include: ⦾ Brainstorming ⦾ Outlining ⦾ Organization ⦾ Writing style During our sessions, I will provide detailed feedback on any work you've submitted to me and/or answer any specific questions you have about your essay. At the end of each session, we will create an action plan for the next steps you'll take. This tutorial is open-ended and will continue until you feel you are ready to send off your application!
