1-1 読み書きやスペルの個別指導

Does your child struggle with literacy skills? I am a passionate teacher who loves working with struggling readers in 1-1 tutoring, building their skills and confidence to help them soar. I have 20 years experience as a teacher and a Masters degree in Education specialising in Learning Difficulties. Every child deserves to learn to read, and a teacher that is committed to helping them.

Our first session will begin with me finding out your child’s strengths and completing an assessment so I can meet them at their point of need. From there we will schedule regular sessions to begin building their skills and knowledge. If there is a particular area you would like me to work on, please let me know and we can start from there. 

Each class will vary according to your child’s individual needs and goals but could include: 
*Phonological awareness practice
*Decoding skills
*Sound segmentation for spelling practice 
*Listening for specific sounds in words
*Practice in writing sentences or paragraphs 
*Vocabulary, word understanding, and word-learning skills
*Sentence-level reading and writing practice 
*Building reading fluency
*Spelling and Grammar conventions
*Reading comprehension
*Oral language skills

I use evidence based instruction methods based on the Science of Reading and current research. I can’t wait to see your learner in class.
