Beginner レベル向け
Learners will be met where they are currently as far as grade level. We will review their word lists for the week more in depth and make it fun! This class is structured to be student-driven where I act as a guide but the student builds confidence and learns to see the beauty of Spalding. Topics will include phonogram practice, manuscript handwriting, review of word lists, and games focused on phonograms. Learners will have lots of interaction including discussions, games, and slides!

I teach classes exploring different science experiments, Spalding phonics, reading, and am continuously adding new classes depending on what my students are interested in. I have been teaching first grade for the past four years, but have worked with kids from kindergarten to doing peer mentoring with college aged students. I have a Bachelors degree from the University of California, San Diego and an M.Ed from Arizona State University. The school I work for believes in a classical education and my teaching philosophy closely aligns with these values. I want to develop a sense of wonder and curiosity in my students so that they can gain the skills to develop their own opinions and question the world around them. My goal is for students to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. In my free time I love to read, hike, and travel to new places! レビュー
