Group Experience

Welcome to Tune Swap - a group for sharing traditional fiddle tunes. Whether you are an expert fiddler or new to strings this group has something for you. This group is perfect for violin, fiddle, viola, and cello players, and we welcome mandolin and guitar pickers too. 

Fiddle tunes are often taught through a tune-teach format. This is a combination of playing by ear and following the fingers of another musician to learn new songs. You don't need any sheet music! By following other...

Students will build their fiddle repertoire with new tunes and playing techniques. Students will learn the music theory, scales, and song structure they’ll need for each tune. Students will improve in their ability to play by ear and follow a tune-teach format.

Lifelong violinist, fiddler, and gigging musician.
Performer with multiple Bluegrass and Americana bands.
Over 10 years of strings teaching experience, including private lessons, camps and workshops, online classes, and successful Flex classes.
Licensed, master’s degree certified teacher.
