What's included

Group experience

US Grade 3 - 6
If you love rocks and minerals and are looking for a place to hang out with other rockhounds, this is the group for you! Here you can find a community of like-minded individuals who are as excited about rocks as you are.

For a limited time, get your first month FREE by entering the code CODERROCKS10 at checkout! (Offer valid until June 13, 2022)

In this group, you’ll find a dedicated space where you can connect with others about your love of all things rocks and minerals. In this group, you can share pictures of your collections, talk about what new specimens you want to add, ask for identification advice, talk about tumbling rocks or growing your own crystals, and so much more! I will moderate the group and encourage participation through several different types of posts including:
-Weekly rock and mineral scavenger hunts, where students are asked to find an example of sample with a certain characteristic
- Discussion prompts where students are asked about their favorite rock, coolest places that they’ve gone looking for rocks, or what rocks they want to add to their collection
- Rock and mineral trivia games including a question of the week and fun puzzles
- News about new discoveries, interesting specimens, or fun finds

Whether your collection fills your entire bedroom or is just made up of a few cool rocks you found outside, you're welcome in this group! I will work to make sure that all feel welcome and included and comfortable participating. As a moderator, I will encourage all to participate, be available to answer questions and guide conversation, and post weekly prompts to spark conversation and discussion.
