Spanish Mini-Lessons! Ask Your Spanish Questions & Learn
What's included
Group experience
Do you love and want to learn Spanish or improve your Spanish? Come practice with Teacher Susie, let's make friends, have fun, and learn! In this group, I will be sharing useful Spanish sentences and students can share what they’re learning, ask questions, and get feedback on their projects. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Spain. NEW SECTION: word of the day (and how to use it, today's date, and today's funny pun). Learner interaction is encouraged in the following ways: I lead discussions via posts in the Outschool classroom. I use the Outschool recording feature to give personalized feedback. I have students evaluate each others’ work. ALL LEVELS WELCOME What to expect: 1. Mini-lessons recorded with my own voice, pictures, and letters with a new word and how to use it in a complete sentence. 2. Daily check-ins and interactions (answering your questions, welcoming new learners...). 3. You can request feedback for one different project/homework daily. 4. Spanish printables, worksheets, and practice. 5. Spanish games and challenges. 6. Exclusive discounts for my classes. Learners can have a notebook, write down the new word AND sentence they learn in the group everyday and practice it during the day with amigos and familia. After 12 months, they will have 365 pages of Spanish, improving their speaking, listening and writing. If YOU ARE my student, por favor send me a message for an exclusive code, my regular students get access to my group for FREE FOREVER. If you are NOT my student yet, join the group and get a WEEK FREE in any of my ongoing group classes. Contact me to recommend the best class for your learner. Also, one day I will record a video of myself saying: "Qué bonito día hace hoy." (Today is a beautiful day.) You can record yourself and share it with the group too or share anything you like. I will create polls so students can choose a topic for that week too. WHY LEARN SPANISH? Knowing Spanish opens the door for you to communicate with 400 million people worldwide. In the United States alone, there are close to 54 million people who speak Spanish. According to projections in Forbes Magazine, by 2050 one in three people in the U.S. will speak Spanish. But not only that. Spanish lessons for kids offer an array of benefits beyond communication: * Learning another language is fun! * A second language helps widen the world of your child, introducing them to and offering them opportunities with other cultures, at home and abroad. * Foreign language study improves reading and communication skills, boosting SAT scores. * Bilingual children and adults are better at staying focused, problem-solving, and recognizing and acting on new inputs, making school and business life easier. * Simply thinking in another language has been shown to help people make quicker, better decisions. * Speaking a foreign language presents better educational and career prospects, as well as the opportunity for a higher standard of living. * Learning foreign languages even prevents dementia later in life. * Improves memory and analytical skills. * It strengthens the brain muscles. * It helps travel with ease. * Improves confidence! Speaking Spanish, after all, can change your life. Nos vemos en el grupo, see you in the group!

Guidelines
Hola, bienvenido al grupo :) Post as must as you want - as much as you can!
Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.
Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here
Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private.
Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered.
