The Pokémon series, now spanning nine generations, has many wonderful games across many different gaming platforms. Whether you are a Gameboy purist playing the likes of Pokémon Red, a Nintendo Switch newbie taking on Legends: Arceus, or a mobile gamer battling in Unite, there is something for everyone. Together we will explore and share all the delights that the Pokémon gaming world has to offer. Teacher Craig will take an active role in hosting the group; he is currently trying to complete the Pokédex in Pokémon Violet! He will regularly monitor content and oversee posts, regularly post new discussion topics and respond to old ones as well as post weekly tasks and challenges. Examples of topics can be seen below: - Best Pokémon to make up your team - Advantages and disadvantages of regional starter Pokémon - Best locations to find Pokémon - Evolving Pokémon - Shiny Pokémon - Beating gym leaders - Tasks such as screenshot your best catch this week and challenges like catch 10 ground type Pokémon

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been in education for 19 years and am currently the Assistant Head of Special Educational Needs in a secondary school (students aged 11-16) in the UK. I believe in an inclusive education for all students, no matter their ability or disability.
I teach English, Film and Media, and creativity is at the heart of all the classes I teach.
I was an art technician for three years in which I honed my artistic skills that I will use to offer art based classes.
I also ran my own small baking and cake decorating business for seven years; I even had celebrity clients! So, I hope to offer these classes to students in the near future.
In my spare time I love walking my pug and I am an avid reader of fantasy fiction. I also enjoy running; I have completed several half marathons and my goal is to complete a full marathon some day. I am a big kid at heart so look out for my Pokémon based classes!
