Calenna has been watching anime for many years, and they are also fully caught up with both the manga and anime. Calenna has experience with teaching children since they were a child themselves; she also holds degrees in philosophy and liberal studies, so they understand that there are many topics that should be discussed for safety purposes, especially in depth, such as personal opinions on politics, race, gender, and much more. One Piece can be discussed without personal opinions and beliefs on anything considered to be a sensitive topic.
Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.

Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here. Luffy wouldn't like that either.

Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, school name private, and any other similar personal information private. We should be like Sanji before everyone knew he was a Vinsmoke.

Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandparent (or Garp), don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered. This means we shouldn't get mad when someone starts to power scale haki and devil fruit powers.

Important: Please also remember to be careful about some of the darker parts of One Piece; while they contribute to plot, character building, and world building, opinions on these topics should never be shared, and posts should never focus on them. You may lightly mention them in certain posts such as why you may like an arc, but you should never go into detail about it and use appropriate language if sensitive topics are alluded to. Any posts that do not reflect the rules will be removed immediately to ensure a safe space and redirected if needed.
One Piece is rated as TV-14 across all media; the writer, Oda, dives into some intense topics such as government oppression, corruption, slavery, and much more. It is not necessarily the focus, but it aids in world building and developing the plot further. The anime, manga, and live action show also depict violence, similar to other Shounen medias. Please keep this in mind when you enroll your learner(s) and allow them to interact with the community. These harsh topics can only be lightly mentioned only as a minor part of fan theories or discussing why someone is their favorite character. Any discussions further than that will be avoided and redirected if this does happen.

Welcome Strawhat lovers! To get things rolling, could you share your favorite member from the Strawhat...
One Piece: Student Pirate Alliance is a community of learners that come together on Outschool to share what they’re learning, ask questions, participate in challenges, and get feedback on their projects
My favorite Strawhat is Nami because she's super smart and is always ready for any obstacle at sea!
My favorite Strawhat is Chopper because he always helps people get better, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Zoro of course!!!
