This is a social group for learners with a chronic illness. The purpose of this group is to make friends around the world that also have a chronic illness.

The purpose of this group is for learners to have the opportunity to socially interact with other learners that have a chronic illness and is looking for a way to make new friends. This group will allow learners to have the opportunity to talk with others, potentially make new friends, and, most importantly, have fun! Learners in this group will be able to make friends from around the world, be in an active virtual community, and actively participate in weekly activities and discussions.
As someone with a chronic illness, I know that it can be difficult to make friends. I would like to help learners make friends from around the world in a fun, safe, and inclusive virtual environment. My B.S. and M.S. are both in Psychology, and I am currently an EdD doctoral candidate studying Educational Leadership.
This group is not about sharing your personal experiences as an individual with a chronic illness but rather making friends and connections with others that are in a similar situation.
