This group is all about spreading kindness! Each week I will post a kindness prompt. The challenge is for you to come up with a way to spread kindness in connection with this prompt. You get to choose who you target with your kindness and how to make it happen! Then you post about what you did and how it impacted others! You can post photos, write a summary, draw a picture... The goal of this class is to create the desire to exhibit kindness. By maintaining a focus on kindness, we create a ripple effect that will undoubtedly create a climate of happiness!
In addition to being a professional school counselor for over 20 years, I have also worked at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. I have extensive training and experience in the area of philanthropy and service-learning. For several years I worked for INSPIRE3: Indiana Service-Learning Philanthropy Initiative - Resources to Educate, Engage, Empower (formerly named generaionOn Indiana). I worked with educators and youth across our state to develop and implement service-learning projects, big and small. This Kindness Group is inspired by my passion for creating change in our world and giving of our time, talent, and treasure!
