Group Experience

This group will be a place where students can learn about being a teacher. This includes learning how to lesson plan, how to prepare for a lesson, how to get students attention and carry out a lesson, and how to assess students. This group will allow students to ask questions about being a teacher. 
This group will include the following:
-Weekly posts and discussions about teaching
-Monthly projects where students get to practice preparing for a lesson
-Challenges where students are able to...

Students will learn to prepare lessons plans and lesson materials. They will also learn to effectively teach a lesson by gaining understanding of useful tools and strategies to reach all learners.

I have been a public school teacher for 10 years. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. Before working in a public school, I was a daycare preschool teacher. I would use my expertise and experience in the field to help learners gain knowledge in the art of teaching.
