I hold an Advanced Professional Certificate in General Music Studies from Berklee College of Music, a B.S. in Psychology (with honors), an M.S. in Psychology (with honors), and a doctorate (EdD) focusing on high school-level homeschooling.
Experience: With a background in online teaching, instructional design, and research, I bring a wealth of experience to my classes. I'm currently a researcher for a medical practice, which gives me unique insights into education.
Teaching Philosophy: Kindness, empathy, and accessibility are key. I believe in celebrating each child's strengths and supporting their needs, empowering them to become lifelong learners.
Fun Fact: When I'm not teaching, I'm exploring Disney as a proud Annual Passholder! I'm also a classically trained pianist and a strong advocate for accessibility in education, drawing from my own experiences as a learner with both a disability and a chronic illness. I'm part of a multigenerational household and cherish spending time with my family, especially caring for my wonderful grandparents.
