Group Experience

This group is designed for teens wanting to practice and improve their writing. Students are welcome to post responses on the classroom page for other students to comment on. All students posting and commenting must abide by Outschool policy (no private information or unkind comments). Each Monday, students will be provided a short prompt, poem, quote, or image each in which they will respond by writing a well-developed paragraph focusing on a specific skill (i.e. types of evidence,...

Students will become more coherent and fluent writers by practicing structured weekly writing prompts.

I am a certified English teacher with a Master's of Arts in English. I have certifications in secondary education, gifted education, and special education. I have been teaching for 5 years and tutoring writing for 8 years.
