Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.

Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here

Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private.

Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered.

We love making dungeons and developing adventures! That is why we have chosen the path of the Dungeon Master. When we see other DMs creations we want to present questions and ideas that are helpful. So when we formulate our comments they should be in the form of "How will this work?" and "Do you think the adventurers can bypass this clever obstacle?" or "Perhaps if you removed the secret door here you will be able to encourage the adventurers to take the more challenging path with all those cool challenges."

It takes a brave person to present their ideas to a group. As you would like to hear comments about your ideas, make sure that you comment in a way that will help the DM make a better dungeon. Celebrate each other's creativity and imagination, try not to dampen other people's super clever ideas. Thank you
This is an Outschool Group which focuses upon the role of the Dungeon Master (DM) in the game Dungeon & Dragons. As such, its focus is upon designing fantasy dungeon delves and adventures which are both challenging and exciting for their players. Part of this excitement centers upon the creation of encounters in the game for the Player Characters (PCs) to figure out and solve. These fantasy scenarios are meant to be potentially dangerous and will (in design for the game) involve pits with spikes, giant boulders, and such which are meant to catch the players unaware if they do not keep their wits about them. Some of the ideas for dungeons and adventures are taken from existing D&D modules, D&D supplements, but most will come from the students themselves - all will be monitored to ensure they do not get too carried away with their maniacal ideas. The experience of a genuine dungeon or adventure is meant to be fun for everyone.
