Welcome to Cosmetologists of The Future Social Club Love styling hair, doing nails or how about applying make up? Are you interested in skin care? Cosmetologists of the Future Social Club is open to all who have a love for and interest in hair, nails, makeup and skin care. This is the club to explore everything about cosmetology and the specialties it has to offer you. Bring your make up, nail polish, styling brushes, products, questions, photos, drawings, and anything cosmetology related. We will have fun showing off our knowledge of information, or any thing of interest related to the cosmetology industry. We will enjoy sharing stories, learning about specialty careers in cosmetology, interesting facts or information you may have learned. This is a place to share in conversation about what it will be like (or just curious about what it is like) being a cosmetologist. A friendly and non-judgmental environment to learn and ask questions. Posting positive, happy pictures, videos, and stories, and sharing interesting facts. This is the perfect place to socialize, relax with a drink and snack, meet and make new friends, who are cosmetology enthusiasts just like you. We will explore the fun, curious and very exciting world of cosmetology through child led group conversation. All of our conversations will be moderated by myself, Ms. Crystal. All levels of experience welcome from beginner to expert.
Learning Goals
Safe, fun, inviting social environment, and knowledge centering on our interest in the cosmetology field. We will learn together about present day trends and talk about cosmetology history. We will discuss different product lines relating to the cosmetology field for use on the hair, skin and nails in this industry. We will discuss how to start working in the field as a cosmetologist. What kind of education is needed to become a cosmetologist. What the specialties are in the cosmetology field.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Please be aware that some makeup can cause allergic reactions or skin sensitivity. If using makeup that has not been used before, please perform a patch test to ensure there is no adverse reaction.
Young learners that are inexperienced with hot tools, sharp implements, nail polish or polish removers will require parental supervision.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
