What's included

Group experience

Welcome!

This group is going to be so much fun! Your student is going to turn into a cooking superstar!

This group is geared toward any student who wants to learn to cook basic and easy recipes or wants to gain more confidence in the kitchen. Each week I will post a new delicous recipe in our group. After they are finished cooking it they are free to post a picture in the group of what they made! Students will be able to make this recipe or make one that they have found on their own. Students will also be able to suggest recipes for the group and share other things that they enjoy doing!

Multiple times during the week I will check in to see how everyone is doing, share information about different ingredients (history, what it does, where it comes from) and ask students what they found easy or difficult about the recipe, if their family enjoyed it etc. I will also be sharing tips and tricks to use when baking to make things go smoothly.

If a student does not want to cook one thing each week they are more than welcome to just join in the chat and bake when they have time or would like.

The posting schedule will be as follows:
Monday: Recipe
Wed: Question of the week
Friday: Tips and Tricks

Here is an example of some of the recipes I might suggest in this group:

-Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

-Seasoned Potatoes

-Homemade Chicken Strips

-Chicken Noodle Soup

*If you have any allergies or need to make substitutions please do so!
*I will be checking in a few times a week to reply to comments.
*This group will be a fun and supportive place to talk about baking and no negative behaviour towards other will be accepted.
