This group is for Military History enthusiasts! Here we will post our favorite aspects of the history of warfare for presentation and discussion. This will be a forum for all types of interests in Military History and questions about Military History. We will mark watershed events in Military History as well as commemorate special events. For those who wish this is an excellent platform to show off the models we have made, the dioramas we have created as well as the pictures we have drawn....
Students will gain experience and confidence in asking and answering questions about Military History. Students will be provided with a platform for the sharing of ideas about Military History. Students will be able to showcase some of their clever projects, thoughtful ideas, and wonderful art work about Military History.
Welcome to All Things Military History! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful. Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included. Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs. Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private. Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated. Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered. Remember that when a student presents their art work, projects, or questions they are being brave in sharing. As you would like to have positive and constructive comments so too would they like to receive such nice comments. Please make sure that you are not submitting any depiction of warfare that might upset someone else. You can send a questionable topic/idea to me (Keith) first if you are and your parents are unsure. It is just considerate and safe to do so even though it might not prove appropriate.
This group topic is Military History - as such the topics will cover weapons, tactics, battles and such. As moderator (a high school teacher with 30 years experience), I will ensure that the posts are purely presenting an interest in the topic and not depicting anything which might be inappropriate. We are here to share our interest in All Things Military History not to hurt anybody's feelings. Certain if in fact there is a post that you are concerned about notify me immediately. Thank you
