Group Experience

This group is where learners can learn about different techniques to train their animals and post about showing the animals..  The animals can include dogs, cats, horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, etc.  Learners that do not have animals but would like to join to learn more may enroll.  Learners can ask questions, answer questions, post videos and pictures.  If the learner found an interesting article or video that is about training or showing the learners can post those as well....

I grew up showing horses, dogs, and cattle.  I showed horses in 4-H and AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) shows.  I have shown dogs in AKC (American Kennel Club) shows.  My dad raised cattle and I was able to go through the process of picking out my calves to training to showing them at the county fair.  I also showed at Ak-sar-ben stock show when I was younger.

Please note that I believe in training animals in a human and ethical way.  No violence against animals will be tolerated.  We will discuss different ways to train animals such as when training a dog you can give treats but for horses you use pressure and release techniques.
