The Child Actor Social Club: Tips on Auditions, Agents, and The Acting Business is a community of child actors and aspiring actors that come together on Outschool to share what they’re learning in their acting classes, talk about auditions, and exchange tips on agents, acting jobs, and everything related to becoming an actor! In this actors group, there will be different challenges every week. The challenges will involve acting technique, self-tape audition material, building characters, monologues, scene work, and everything related to acting. The students will have a chance to show their work and ask questions to the group. The other students can then give feedback and get a chance to show what they have learned in the group for the group to discuss ways to improve. The students in the group may also post ideas or tips they know for peer feedback and ask questions. My role in this group is to act as a moderator and mentor. I will post different videos and challenges each week for the group to enjoy. I will also be available to help students personally with any technical issues they may encounter. ---- Keywords: acting, child actor, performance
