This group will be a place for chicken lovers to talk about their feathered pets. Other types of birds are also welcome to the class. I currently care for chickens, ducks, and a couple parakeets, but I will mainly focus on chickens. Students will be encouraged to talk about how they care for their flock. They can use the group to ask questions on topics of interest or how to help their chickens. Students are encouraged to post pictures or videos of their animals to share with the class. Students can also share helpful tips and products that they like to use to care for their chickens.

Students will have the opportunity to show what they do to care for their chickens, or just for fun. These topics will include treat recipes students share, themed photo shoots of their chickens, sharing of coop photos, and how they keep their birds from being bored.

As the moderator, I will make sure posts are respectful and fun as students engage with their virtual friends.
