Zines are self-published magazines full of things the author is passionate about. They often focus on one theme or subject and include writing, doodles, collage, and art. In this workshop, we will look at a handful of types of zines so students can determine the type they want to create. We will then work together to make mini-zines that students can fill with their work. Students will be given creative prompts to continue their work after class is over!
