In my class, learners will be introduced to multiplication (1 digit times 1 digit) and how to multiply using arrays. Learners will make their own arrays using M&Ms or any other same sized objects you have around your house (cereal, macaroni noodles, beans, skittles...) I do not have activities specific to M&Ms. We will talk about what multiplication is and I will teach how to set up and use an array with my own M&Ms and slides to solve a multiplication problem. 1 archivo disponible al momento de la inscripciónM&Ms or any other easily item that can be moved that you have around your house. Cereal, beans, macaroni noodles, skittles or something similar in size. You will need 24 M&Ms, more if you decide to eat some. A tray, bowl or a bag to help keep your pieces from rolling away from you. White board and marker OR paper and marker(marker is easier to see on camera than a pencil). Print the grid I attached (to help keep your pieces in straight lines).
