Welcome! This is a short and fun class designed to get young artists started in animation! We will use a simple sticky notepad to create mini flipbooks. This exercise creates excitement in art/animation and boosts confidence so that students can come to the realization that animation is something they CAN do and CAN be good at, even if they don't draw often or are just starting out in their creative journey. The first half of the class will be a step-by-step demo where we create a simple ball bounce animation. Once we get the hang of the basics of animation, students will use the rest of their time creating their own short and simple flipbook!
