Dark / medium gray background completed and DRIED  prior to class.    ( Warm air is helpful)
(Use black and white in UP and Down strokes  ) to get a Rain effect * Please see photo.


Acrylic paint: 
White
 Your choice of umbrella color. 
TINY dot of :
red, blue, dark pink, orange , green , purple,  black *. We can put this out later so it will not dry. 

Protected table surface 
Paint smock and long hair should be tied back. 

11x 14  canvas OR water color paper/  thick mixed media paper. 
*Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward  SPECIFICALLY  11x14 or smaller . 
 This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success.      

3 SHORT HANDLED brushes : 
  (flexible,  SYNTHETIC  bristles) 
3/4 “ or  1 " Flat wash brush 
Medium sized ROUND brush  ( size 8 )
Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point.  ( size 3 or 4) 

 2 Bowls of water 
EXTRA paper towels   AND old cloth to wipe off brush  .
Paper plate /cardboard for mixing 



Please position ALL supplies on same side of table next to the hand you paint with .  
Depending on easel / table : 
Computer /device should be faced directly ahead to gauge student progress.
