Welcome to the Year Long Book Club: Zoey and Sassafras Series! In this book club, we will meet once a week for 34 weeks to discuss our books and chapters. Topics that we will cover include: Theme Foreshadowing Characters Genre Conflict Setting Narrator Writer's Intent Students who enjoy sharing their thoughts with others either on the microphone or via the chat box will do well in this class. Students who do not like to participate may not enjoy this book club or feel very successful. I do not force students to participate but instead expect students to discuss, engage, and pay attention during class. Please support your student by making sure their video and mic are on and that they are ready to discuss each week. Please note, we need 6 students to run this book club. Please consider sharing the listing after you enroll your student. I recommend not purchasing any of the books until we have the minimum number of students. Thank you! Please be aware that some of these books have themes dealing with racism, sexism, historical trauma, magic, murder, revenge, fantasy violence, etc. There may be inappropriate language in some of the books.
