Escritura con la estrategia RACES para estudiantes de secundaria

In this class, students will learn how to write a well-structured paragraph using an easy to remember strategy- the R.A.C.E.S. strategy. Through an interactive Google Slides presentation, students will absorb these steps. The class will begin with a lecture-based format. Students will have the opportunity to answer questions throughout the lecture (through the chat or out loud) and ask questions that they may have, as well. Students will complete an interactive activity where they "put together the paragraph puzzle" using our newly learned strategy. Students can work with other classmates or independently, if they wish. Students will be given a variety of resources to use when practicing the R.A.C.E.S. strategy. 

Video clips are also included to help students gain a  better understanding of the task. A demonstration video (think aloud) will be provided. Students will have access to the class Google Site link where they will find everything for this class grouped together in one place.
