This course is designed for 4th and 5th grade students to learn the basics of opinion writing.  The course features video lessons, follow along notes, writing prompts & reference notes.

This upper elementary writing class is great for homeschooling students or traditional students to use as a supplement for writing!  

All lessons are pre-recorded and the student is free to work at his or her own pace throughout the entirety of the course.  Teacher feedback will be available for 5 weeks.

The instruction is broken down by the specific pieces of the opinion essay as follows:
- Introduction to the genre
- Introduction paragraph
- Conclusion paragraph
- Body paragraphs
- Revising & Editing

A single essay will be completed following the lessons of the outline above.  After that, there are 4 other writing prompts included for students to practice their writing skills.

Students may submit any of their assignments and/or assessments for feedback from the teacher.  Feedback will be provided within 24 hours of each submission.  For submissions, received on the weekends, please allow until the following Monday.
