This is an ongoing class that will meet once a week. Learners will be provided with a writing prompt during class time and we will work together to complete it. At the end of class learners will be able to share what they have written if they are comfortable. I will also work with learners on spelling, sentences/paragraphs, and punctuation. Learners will always be encouraged to illustrate their writing prompt. My goal in this ongoing class is for the students to develop the confidence and knowledge to be able to write outside of class. As in all my classes, this is a laid-back learning environment where I encourage all students to be comfortable, be themselves and know how smart they are. The topics of the witting prompts are as follows! Week of: 5/26 What are you really good at? 6/2 If I was invisible, I would... 6/9 Describe your perfect summer vacation! 616 What kind of animal makes the best pet and why?

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
