How is writing & grammar taught in school? 
The standard and traditional way writing & grammar is typically taught is by separating the two subjects. For example, grammar is learning nouns one week and then verbs the next week, and so on and so on. Writing is completely separated from the context of learning grammar.  This type of teaching takes weeks to learn basic foundational grammar and writing. We implement a completely different approach.  

What sets me apart from the typical writing class? 
I believe that learning should be fun and captivating, which is why I have incorporated interactive and engaging elements into my lessons. Say goodbye to dry textbooks and monotonous lectures! My PROVEN and INNOVATIVE approach challenges and encourages students to learn multiple writing & grammar standards during each session by using positive repetitions! Learners strive for mastery and will increase their vocabulary skills. 

Assessment 
Each NEW learner will be given a free assessment ($95 value) on day 1 and after their initial assessment, we will customize your child's session after their writing and grammar level is determined. On the 4th week, another free assessment ($95 value) will be given to the learner.  

During the 1-on-1 tutoring session, students will be mastering (depending on the learner's level) one of the following: 1st-grade, 2nd-grade, 3rd-grade, and 4th-grade common core writing & grammar standards. All classes will begin with a 5-minute Daily Check-in.

Classes may include but are not limited to:

Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs, Sight Words, Plural Nouns, Proper Nouns, Pronouns, Adverbs, Conjunction, Interjections, Preposition, Capitalization, Punctuation, Similes 

(Depending on the learner's level) Four Types of Sentences: Declarative, Interrogative, Exclamatory, and Imperative 

And MORE! If your child is performing above grade level, enrichment opportunities to deepen content understanding will be utilized. Learners will be able to go as fast or slow as they need to.
