In this special confidence building "Would you Rather" game, students do more than make decisions. They listen, write, draw and present answers and stories to the class. *This one-time class can be taken multiple times. Record: Over 30 times. New clues daily.

In a very small group setting (1-4 students) Ms. Leslie will pose questions. For example: Would you Rather sit next to a very smart person or a very funny person on a long car trip? Why?

Students consider options, write and draw answers, then present answers to the class, along with their reasoning. Next, students write or tell a story, using their answers. This is a confidence building class. If I did my job right, your student will run to you after class to show you their answer sheet and will be excited for their next class.

Kindness and building personal and social confidence is the number one goal in this class.

Class Size:
My class size is deliberately small (1-4 students) in order to give students maximum teacher interaction and attention. Being an active listener, using a big imagination, giving compliments, encouraging one another and being kind will be encouraged and emphasized throughout class.

Facts:
Playing games like "Would you Rather" helps children practice weighing decisions, making decisions and explaining the reasoning behind the decision. This practice helps grow confidence.

Feeling Included:
I am an expert at inclusion. Your child will immediately feel at ease, welcomed and ready to learn. Is your learner shy or quiet? This is the right class for them. Build social confidence easily.

One time or 100 times:
This is a one-time class that can be taken multiple times. The clues and players change every day, but the process stays the same, creating an immediate familiarity/confidence for returning players. Come once or come often. Many students have taken this class 10, 20 even 30 times. Clues change daily.

ESL/ELL Students:
I have taught many children from Asia, in particular Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. This is a simple and enriching way to practice writing, drawing and conversation.
ESL and ELL students can Practice Speaking English Confidently in this fun and simple game. Note: ESL and ELL students should be able to write simple sentences without assistance and be able to read their sentences to the class.

Take the class several times and see your child's confidence grow.

Class is appropriate for CEFR: A1, A2, B1,B2,C1,C2*

Important Classroom notes:
-Please take this class inside, with a proper place to write and draw. (No car classes or class in public settings please.)
-Students show work to the camera, so please have cameras on throughout the class.
-Kindness to self and others is the number one lesson in every class I teach.

Reviews:

For student privacy, I do not share class recordings. I do send parents detailed debriefs after class and welcome caretakers to sit in on classes (off camera) whenever possible.

I cannot see messages after the first five minutes of class. If you are running late or having computer problems, please expect to hear back from me after class.
