In this week-long camp, learners will review decimal numbers from place value to percents. Learners will review place value in decimals up to the thousandths place and will compare decimal numbers. They'll then practice using decimals in various math operations, including in word problems. Finally, learners will understand how fractions, decimals, and percents are related. Day 1: Introduction to Decimals & Place Value; Comparing Decimals Day 2: Adding & Subtracting Decimals Day 3: Multiplying Decimals Day 4: Dividing Decimals Day 5: Relating Fractions, Decimals, & Percents This class is ideal for students that have completed fifth grade or beyond. This class assumes that students can multiply multi-digit numbers, perform long division, and has an understanding of what a fraction is. I am a homeschool parent with a background in elementary education as well as a background in math and finance. I look forward to meeting and working with your child!

I'm an accountant with a teaching background who enjoys learning and strives to foster a love of learning in students through games and interactive learning. I believe students learn best when they are having fun and interacting with the material.
I have always had a passion for learning and have diverse interests. I'm especially passionate about building strong foundations in language and math. I believe confidence in these two areas will give students the tools to learn almost anything they'd like to in life.
As an accountant, I have expertise in mathematics and finance. I'm an Enrolled Agent and believe everyone should be proficient in budgeting and personal finance. I believe a strong foundation in math is important to develop advanced skills with numbers later in life. Likewise, strong grammar and language skills will help students communicate effectively and give them the tools to learn anything they'd like to. I'm also passionate about culture and language and have formally studied nine languages, including studying abroad. I want to share the world with students through language and exploration.
I hope to share my love of learning with each of my students as they explore their personal interests. In doing so, students will become lifelong learners and continue to grow in and out of the classroom.Reseñas
