Students will participate in a role-playing game that allows them to experience various parts of the wizarding world as a young witch/wizard in their first year of school. Everyone will have a chance to explore their world by uncovering threats and mysteries, making friends and rivals, interacting with teachers and other famous characters, and mastering spells and potions. The first class for every learner will be to create their first year witch/wizard. Then, the adventure will continue from there. As each character progresses through their years at school, they will gain more knowledge and experience that will shape them into the witch/wizard of their own creation. Learners will be introduced to a world of fantasy and magic as they uncover new mysteries each week. This ongoing class will allow students to join in at any time as a new student attending wizarding school. This is a role-playing game with some similarities in format to other role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons.

The goal of these adventures is to experience the world of a young witch/wizard. They will encounter new creatures, magical items, characters, and places. Every student will receive all the information they need to make the best decision for their witch/wizard.

Hello. I am Aimee Burks and I am very excited to be a part of Outschool. I have a bachelors degree in education from Stephen F. Austin St. University in Texas. My passion is teaching and I have experienced 12 years as a middle school classroom teacher. Also, I teach online ESL classess to students from age 4-12. I love spending time with my family and friends, having adventures, and traveling. I love sharing my joy, kindness, and energy with the people around me. I want each of my students to have a memorable learning experience. My favorite part of teaching is sharing my interests in a creative way with students.
