Welcome to Guitar Camp for Beginners! In this class, young learners will have their first guitar experience. Day 1 - We will learn the parts of the guitar, how to hold it, and how to pluck and strum. Day 2 - "Mississippi Hot Dog" - Learn a fun rhythm on your guitar and play a guessing game to see what string you hear! Day 3 - Continue with Mississippi Hot Dog and learn the names of the top 3 strings. Day 4 - Start our first song, Hot Cross Buns. Day 5 - Finish learning Hot Cross Buns. Congratulations! The pace will be adjusted as necessary based on the learners in the class. All learners must have an appropriate sized GUITAR for this class. Either 3 string or 6 string is fine. NO ukuleles or guitaleles since they are tuned completely differently. Thank you for understanding. Please reach out with any questions.
